When was the last time you pulled an all-nighter? If it’s been a while since you’ve put in the hard yards and you’re feeling up for a sunrise session, you’re in luck – White Night, the annual dusk til dawn cultural takeover of Melbourne, returns this February.

From Alexandria Gardens to Victoria Street, a wild hoard of local and international artists, musicians and performers have been given the green light to run amok from 7 pm on Saturday, February 18 until 7 am the following day. The city’s streets, parks, laneways and cultural haunts will embrace their nocturnal side as installations, interactive exhibitions, street performances, film and live music spring into action as the sun sets.

The four designated precincts (Flames & Fantasy, Swing Central, Precipitation & Enlightenment, Innocence Returned) have jam packed lineups during the 12-hour window, so we’ve cherry-picked the best events to see at White Night Melbourne 2017.
