VAMFF 2017 Line-Up

Dec 12, 2016  ·  2 min read

Firstly, we want to throw a huge birthday shout out to the fine team at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival. We here at QTLife love nothing more than a milestone and there is nothing better than a 21st party. Over the years you have shown us what’s cool, how to rock it and with what – we would like to throw massive ‘thanks’ your way for all of that – no easy task, I’m sure.

Now on to the even more important news.

Virgin Australian Melbourne Fashion Festival has just dropped the line-up of exhibitors and much like the last 21st you attended, it’s classy – real classy.

Where to start…

Labels that will be strutting their stuff down the runways will consist of festival favourites such as Romance Was Born; Manning Cartel; Scanlan Theodore; Alice McCall; Strateas Carlucci; Dion Lee; Camilla; Michael Lo Sordo and QT favourites Bassike.

Along with the big hitters noted above, there’ll also be a line-up of up and coming designers that you are yet to fall for – check out Kloke and Bul, to whet the appetite.

David Jones has come on board as the Presenting Partner of the National Designer Award – that’s the award that the likes of Dion Lee and Josh Goot are recipients of. The award doffs the hat to designers in the first five years of business and throws a cash award of $15,000 and integration into the David Jones Alumni.

For those fashion bloggers out there, the Fashion Writing Series is back for the third year. With mentors like Alison Kubler, Briony Wright and Clare Pass, this is something you’ll not want to miss.

VAMFF takes over the Royal Exhibition Centre and Melbourne Museum Precinct from March 1 – 19
