The Night Markets

As a lover of all things artisan, a marketplace is something that excites any member of the QT family. From the hard to find, one of a kind items, to the mouth-watering food options. We love to get lost in amongst stallholders from Port Douglas to Melbourne. With the summer season about to heat up our fair city, the team at the Queen Victoria Markets are stoked to announce that The Night Markets will be returning for the 19^th year running. Turning your Wednesdays into something other than hump day.

The team haven’t just slapped a line-up of food, drinks and bands together; instead, they started with the best and went north from there. Food wise, ready yourself for the lads from Southside Smokers to get the flavours rolling, Pizza pockets from Trapizzino and toasties from Toasta & Co. Mouth watering stuff that makes the mind wander a little, huh?

The word on the street is that the crew at Coopers Brewery have been working on an Amber Ale for the summer markets, just to make it all exclusive and what not. On top of that, from December 7 the Cheeky Rascal Cider team will swing the doors open on a Frozen Cider Bar, offering their strawberry and apple ciders, in a frozen form. As well as this season’s crazy creation, a Frosé Bar will be popping up, so you can always enjoy a rosé, again, in a frozen format. The Pimms Lounge Bar will be returning, making a good case as to why you should sit back and enjoy a jug.

Along with all the food and frozen drinks, The Night Markets will also play host to a line-up of entertainment, spread over three stages – from buskers to signed artists.

The Night Markets are on every Wednesday from November 16 to March 8 (except for December 28)
