When gifted by those who deem it appropriate, a three-day weekend can be spent doing those things that you said you’ll get around to doing.
Like potting plants or finishing that piece of art that you want to throw you hand at. Then you have the binge option; Netflix or otherwise, a binge will suck most of your weekend into a dark space, one that you’ll never get back.
With the upcoming long weekend mixed with the sub-zero temperatures, maybe it’s time to go and spend three glorious days in the Victorian alpine region of Falls Creek.
Not only is it a magical place to getaway from it all, it’s also the opening weekend for the Australian Snow Season, making it an awesome time to visit!
With the temps hanging down low around the minus 3 mark and a solid pre-season dumping, the forecast is looking solid for the start of the 2017 season.
The road trip from the Melbourne centre will only take you and fellow ski cats around 5 hours, covering 390kms of the great southern land.
Then once there, as you pull into QT Falls Creek, you’ll begin to spot the snow-capped mounts and that’s the moment a small tear might appear… It’s quite the view.
Once you have composed yourself and checked-in, head to the lifts with your gear and prepare yourself for some downhill action on your first run of the season.
Failing that, head to Stingray Bar at QT Falls Creek to grab a mulled wine and continue taking in the vista that lays before you.
We can help yo out with everything you need this season with our QT Falls Creek Ski Concierge. From private transfers to shorting your hire gear and more, check it out HERE.
However you spend your long weekend, stay safe and we’ll see you soon!
