Meet Joey and Nicoletta, the husband and wife duo who brought the gents of the GC the coolest accessory since the Daniel Wellington watch. Wood & Beau is a Gold Coast based brand helping gents stand out from the crowd with handmade, specially designed wooden bow ties. Yep, bow ties, made out of wood.

Nicoletta Sagripanti joins us to talk about where the unique concept originated from.

“I was always into fashion” she said. “Four years ago, I was importing authentic leather boots from my home country Italy, and I was displaying them in the window of my husband’s barber shop.”

Luigi and Sons is a second generation family business and a well-known barber shop on the Gold Coast. Joey D’Adderio runs the Q Super Centre establishment whilst his brother operates the Crestwood shop.
