For lovers of locally sourced goods and the handmade such as ourselves, The Village Markets held in Burleigh are pretty much like Christmas coming once a month. And Christmas has come again!

Taking place on Sunday, February 1 and again Sunday February 15, the Village Markets in Burleigh are a weekend of fun, fashion, food and fair trade goodness.

Founded in 2008, The Village Markets (TVM) are the original boutique fashion and lifestyle market, showcasing a carefully edited line-up of stalls, live local music, delicious eats and positive Sunday vibes.

The Village Markets were created as a way of highlighting the raw talent from local emerging designers, creatives and collectors, giving them an opportunity to showcase their wares, connect and collaborate in a positive, unique environment.

With more than 75 stalls, The Village Markets are truly a shopaholics paradise, a foodie’s heaven and a hipster’s dream. We’ll be there in vintage everything drinking organic juices and buying cold pressed beard oil.

The Village Markets will be held in Burleigh on Sunday, February 1 and Sunday February 15.
