Top 5 Places To Visit On The Gold Coast

Nov 22, 2017  ·  3 min read

Summer on the Gold Coast is right around the corner and our Instagram feeds have begun to fill with locals heading to our favourite spots. We might be a little biased when we say this, but we think the Gold Coast is the best place in the world. To convince you, we’ve listed some of our favourite places to visit. Add these to your Instagram list.

Burleigh Hill

Burleigh Hill has one of the best views on the Gold Coast. Any afternoon on the hill is magical – watching the sunset over the hinterland or the amazing view of Surfers Paradise.

Tallebudgera Creek

If you’re looking for a beach to go to minus the waves and wind then Tallebudgera Creek is the place for you. Tucked behind Burleigh Hill you’ll find yourself thinking you’re in another country with the crystal-clear water and palm trees lining the beach.

Sky point Observation Deck

If you want to get the view of the Gold Coast in one snap, then head up to the top of the tallest residential building in Australia! You’ll get 360 degree views of the Gold Coast and further, and depending on the season, you could be lucky enough to see a whale or two.

A kangaroo selfie

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a great place to get up and close with some of Australia’s most iconic animals. You can even go into the Kangaroo enclosure to feed and pat them. Whether you’re a local or visitor, we suggest sneaking in the ultimate #StrayaSelfie with a roo as well.

Beach Sunrise

Although the GC wasn’t named after the golden sunrises over its picturesque beaches, you’d be forgiven to it was. This one is a must to see why the Gold Coast truly is amazing. Any beach on the Gold Coast will give you a spectacular view of the sunrise.
