How long have you been at QT Gold Coast:  I have been here since GCI days and saw the whole transformation to QT Gold Coast, it was amazing to be part of that!

Best thing about your job:  My role has evolved many times over, I like that it is not too structured and lends to being involved in all areas of the hotel, including writing up the daily chalkboard

Your Gold Coast Hot Spots:  Burleigh Markets is the best for fruit & veg on Sat morning.  And being vegetarian love Mandala Organic Arts Café at Mermaid Beach.

Your next adventure:  A Meditation Retreat in Bali in May, bring it on!!

Some fun / quirky about yourself people may not know:  I collect antiques and old things and my friends say it’s like coming to an antique shop when they visit my home.  I have been into old things since I was young and can spend hours (literally days) fossicking antique, second hand and junk shops.  I did an antique restoration course and since then have been collecting (too) many projects.

What are you loving right now? (could be a meal, song, person, object, anything):  One of my most fave things in my home is a gorgeous old Australian depression era cabinet hand built probably around 1920-30s, using old timber off-cuts, golden circle crates making up the back and wooden cotton spool handles.  It is stunning!
