Who doesn’t get a little excited or revert back to being a little kid filled with awe at the sight of fireworks? Seafire, the annual Surfers Paradise night of pyrotechnics is taking place on Saturday, April 18 and it’ll be another night of spectacular sights along Surfers Paradise beach.
A part of this year’s Surfers Paradise Festival, Seafire will see two teams of Queensland’s greatest pyros go head-to-head in the skies above the foreshore, lighting up Surfers Paradise with cutting-edge fireworks timed to a thumping musical beat.
Attendance is free, but prepaid parking is also available at Bruce Bishop Car Park on Beach Road for those who are driving in for the night.
This year there will also be an “Instameet” for local social media lovers and Instagrammers. So if you love photography, are keen to meet other Instagrammers in the community and wouldn’t mind to be in the running for a major cash prize should you take the winning photograph of the night, register to attend the Seafire Instameet event on Facebook. Then, after the Instameet, post your best photo on Instagram, hashtag #Seafire #Instameet and tag Visit Surfers Paradise (@VisitSurfersParadise).
Seafire will take place on Surfers Paradise Beach on Saturday, April 18 from 7pm.
