Sportette Summit

“Who run the world? Girls”. With Sportette Summit soon to be going down on the Gold Coast, Beyonce’s lyrics have never sounded truer. If you don’t already know, Sportette Summit is Australia’s #1 Women in Sports event.

Sportette itself was founded by Channel 9’s Sports Reporter and Presenter Sam Squiers. Too often she was seeing women in sport sat on the bench, while preference was given to the bigger budget male-dominated sports.

She decided there was just one thing to do – tell the stories of these inspiring women herself. Sportette strives to provide insightful, interesting, thought-provoking features, profiles and opinion pieces on the women involved in all areas of sport.

From the athletes, coaches and trainers, to those who work in the media, administration or in the clubhouse canteen, every woman involved in sport has an interesting story to tell.

The Sportette editors and contributors are journalists who have worked in the media for decades and have reported on many of the biggest sports stories of our modern time. They’re the ideal authority on the various issues that arise in sport.

This is a chance to rub shoulders with some of the industry’s heavy-hitters. The trailblazing one-day summit will bring together some of the most powerful leaders in sport and business including:
