We at QT love a good home grown success story. We also love chicks with a great sense of style. We also love small businesses making good, so when we came across SMAX Design in Brisbane, and the two ladies who have created and curated this new company, we felt compelled to tell you about it.

Katie Smith and Jane Claxon are two Brisbane based interior designers who cut their teeth in large-scale development projects and the conceptualisation of bespoke interiors for design-forward companies in the Brisbane area.

They have a fresh aesthetic and we really love their personal stories, which are full of art, fashion, and a thirst for all things cutting edge.
