SIPFest (Shorts In Paradise) Is Back!

In tandem with the Surfers Paradise Festival, the Gold Coast’s annual short film festival SIPFest (Shorts In Paradise) 2015 will take place at the Festival Pavilion on Sunday April 12.

Presented by Surfers Paradise Alliance and The Gold Coast Film Festival, SIPFest (Shorts In Paradise) is one of the biggest short film festivals in Australia. It is a great opportunity for local emerging filmmakers, writers and actors to share their work and the chance to win prize money!

This year’s event offers a diverse mix of genres, including thrillers, dramas, comedies, documentaries, and animations.

A panel of industry experts will be on site to judge the films and award over $5,000 in prizes to competing filmmakers.

There is also a people’s choice award for the audience’s favourite film!

SIPFest (Shorts In Paradise) will take place in the Festival Pavilion on Surfers Paradise Beach on Sunday April 12.
