Queensland Longboard Titles

The Bradnam’s Windows and Doors Queensland Longboard Titles will be kicking off at Burleigh Heads for two days starting May 30 and wrapping up May 31 so make sure you’re there to cheer on your favourite or to simply soak up some sunshine in great company.

Honestly, what would the Gold Coast be without the surfers practicing their art? It’s mesmerising to watch and really represents the outdoor, nature loving heart of our city. Longboards are the original and very first variety of board used in standup surfing when it became popular back in the 50s and  since we obviously have a soft spot for anything that harkens back to this era, this competition gets a little excited at the chance to see old-school surfing.

The precursor to the national Australian Longboard Titles held in Coffs Harbour later in August, the Bradnam’s Windows and Doors Queensland Longboard Titles is a hotbed of competitiveness as the best surfers from the region fight it out to make it to the next level.

The Bradnam’s Windows and Doors Queensland Longboard Titles will this year return to the Sunshine Coast as competitors do battle for selection in the State Longboard Team set to compete at the Australian Longboard Titles in August in Coffs Harbour.

Noosa First Point is the expected location of the 2015 event which will attract some of Queensland’s best and most creative surfers. Known as a cultural hub for Longboarding, the event is guaranteed to put on a show.

The Bradnam’s Windows and Doors Queensland Longboard Titles will take place at Burleigh Heads from May 30 until May 31.
