As the weather cools on the Gold Coast the live music offering heats up with two of the largest outdoor live music events happening right here, right now. May is the month for you to do some serious head-banging and we have put together our highlights of what not to miss. So pin on your indie badges, lace up your Doc Martins and get ready for some booty shaking action with our top picks:

Surfers Paradise Live 

Surfers Paradise Live runs from May 7 and 8. Right on the sandy shores of Surfers Paradise beach, make sure you don’t miss Choirboys, Thirsty Merc and Anthony Callea when they take centre stage under the stars alongside a long list of local and national acts.

Blues on Broadbeach 

Blues on Broadbeach takes over the streets of Broadbeach from May 19 – 22. We recommend the FREE Diesel show at Jupiter’s on May 20 and The Bamboos at Surf Parade Street May 21. Love your rock and roll? Back in Blue – a tribute to ACDC will be a party-starter in Victoria Park on May 21.
