Meet all kinds of movie monsters and get behind-the-scenes access to Visual Effects Academy Award Winner and Gold Coast resident John Cox’s Creature Workshop. Play with real animatronic mermaids, snowmen, gorillas, aliens, animals and more from sweet films like Pitch Black, Inspector Gadget 2, Scooby Doo, Peter Pan, Nim’s Island and Babe! Learn how fantasy creatures are created from the page to full size inventions. Become an animatronics puppeteer, a lighting technician or a creature designer. HOW GOOD.

Our QT pick is John Cox’s Creature Workshop – the interactive display gives audiences an up-close look at the art of creating monsters for the movies and an insight into John Cox’s 35 plus years of expertise in the visual effects industry.
