Hotelling Artists Announced

If hotel walls could talk, they may just tell a few stories like those to be featured in Hotelling – a 48-hour event of flirtatious performance art, set to immerse guests into the (usually) unseen life of hotels and their guests.

Crisscrossing the corridors, courtyards, cocktail bars and clandestine corners of QT Gold Coast, the Hotelling project has now just announced the inclusion of renowned artists such as:

The Queen of Provocative Variety and Mistress of the Macabre, Moira Finucane;
Internationally acclaimed projection artists Craig Walsh;
The Farm, an international network of highly respected choreographers, dancers, musicians and designers;
Lawrence English, composer, media artist and curator;
Award-winning Gold Coast performing arts company, Shock Therapy Productions.

This adults-only adventure will lure audiences into fly-on-the-wall interactions with musicians, theatre-makers, dancers and media artists as they shape-shift from the concierge to the couple next-door, the celebrity rock-star and even your elevator valet.

Curated by David Pledger, the Hotelling experience aims to reimagine your hotel interactions and expand the landscape of cultural tourism on the Gold Coast. Curious?

Open to both QT Gold Coast guests and the general public, leave your inhibitions at home and either check-in or just check it out.
