Originally from the Central Coast, NSW, Helen Holmes is a contemporary abstract artist who has called the Gold Coast home for over 20 years.Helen is a vehicle spray painter by trade with an industrial background. Her innate love of colour was enhanced by the many hours spent mixing paints and colour matching in her field of trade, and has carried itself over to her artwork.

Her paintings are vibrant acrylics and charcoal on board or canvas. Her work is sassy and fun with lots of energy. Helen was recently awarded first prize at The Trinity Lutheran College Annual Art and Craft Awards.
