Calling all R ‘n’ B lovers…NO, calling all MUSIC lovers!

Just in case you have been hiding under a rock and missed our big announcement, we can excitedly inform you that Gold Coast legends, The Hanlon Brothers have locked-and-loaded a three-month residency at our Stingray Lounge!

Yup, Thursday nights have never looked or felt so damn fine!

We love QT. It’s beautiful and classy says Saia Hanlon.

Stingray’s is the perfect place to hold the Hanlon Brothers sound.

In further news breaks, the boys have also just released a teaser for a long-awaited video for their song Diamonds. The clip, which is expected to be released any day now is the band’s first official music video.

Diamonds also made finalist in two categories, Urban and Regional Song of the Year at the 2017 Queensland Music Awards held last week at the Brisbane Powerhouse.

Stingray Lounge is not the first quirky Gold Coast venue the band have played in. The clip was filmed at Swingin’ Safari, one of the City’s most memorable music venues, credited with helping the band find their feet. Hanlon Brothers ran regular improv nights at Swingin’ Safari, connecting with local audiences for many years before being acknowledged as Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2015 Gold Coast Music Awards.

The video is more of a short film than a traditional band music clip …The story is set in a karaoke lounge. We had so much fun making it and are excited to share it soon.” Saia said.
