Okay QT Lifer’s, get ready for a weekend of deliciousness, the Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival is on its way!

If the name of the event isn’t self-explanatory enough, the GC Food & Wine Festival is all about celebrating culinary delights, remarkable chefs, fresh produce and unique experiences within our foodie culture.

Kicking off with a launch party on Thursday, June 1 at yours truly, four-day foodie fiesta has got us on the edge of our seats with excitement! Join us as we officially inaugurate the festival with an array of delicious canapés by QT’s executive chef Greg Benney, paired with a glass of bubbles on arrival.

Gain insight to the transformation of the food and wine scene here on the Gold Coast with media personalities Lyndey Milan and Donna Lynch as well as the lovely Michelle Christoe (festival director). As the event falls on a Thursday night, you’ll also be graced by the presence of Stingray’s resident band – Hanlon Brothers. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased HERE

Saturday, June 3 will be the day that you can experience Taste of QT. A foodie adventure that will start off on our rooftop garden, followed by a visit to the award winning Bazaar Marketplace and finishing with Qtea High Tea in our Fixx Café.

We are particularly eager to check out the dessert tour at NightQuarter *drool*, but the festival isn’t all revolved around food. There are a few decent libation tours in the mix including a Gin and Rum tasting and a free tour at Burleigh Brewing Co to quench your thirsts as well.

We’re sorry to burst your bubble guys but Fit June will have to wait… this event is not to be missed by the GC foodie.
