You know when you’re scrolling thru your newsfeed and you see those short, 30 second videos on how to cook yummy recipes? Those are called quick clips and we love them!
If you’re a complete amateur in the kitchen, you have a passion for cooking or you’re simply looking for new recipes to experiment with in the kitchen, then quick clips will be your best friend.
Accompanied by cute foot-tapping background music, the videos generally show a bird’s eye view of a person’s hands preparing a meal. Of course, the videos are in fast-mode because, in a social media world full of content, our attention spans are very limited.
By using quick clips when you’re in the kitchen, you don’t have to worry about getting food from all of your favourite recipe books or spending 10 minutes Googling what in the world “Emulsifying” or “Tempering” mean.
Here are out top 3 quick clips for recipes:
Tasty on BuzzFeed
I have no doubt your social media feed has been blessed by the presence of a Tasty clip before. The recipes on there are seriously out of this world. From lite bites, to vego dishes and mega cheat meals, there is certainly something for everyone on Tasty! If you deliberately want to cook using a Tasty clip recipe but you can’t for the life of you find one on your news feed, you can head over to their website HEREDelish
Not only do Delish release some incredible quick clips, they also have a step-by-step recipe guide *with pictures* on their website. Delish specialise in snacks and meals ideal for entertaining guests or hosting parties. One of my faves is the red velvet ice cream sandwich video (yes you read that right). Check them out HERE or check out the cheesecake version below.
