Gold Coast fans of Dan Sultan will be ecstatic to know that the Melbourne ‘country soul rock ‘n’ roll’ man of the moment will be hailing our golden shores on July 4 to tour his latest album released on April 4 ‘Blackbird’.

The new album has been described as “raw and emotive” by reviewers and features a range of different styles, from old-school rock and roll jams to banjo’s and even an Arabic scale or two.

With two ARIA awards already up his sleeve (Best Blues and Roots Album and Best Male Artist 2010), he’s set to impress audiences with his home-grown aussie rock style and we can’t wait to see what he brings to Soundlounge, an intimate venue.
