Circa: Carnival of Animals Comes to the Gold Coast

The amazing Circa is coming back to the Gold Coast where they will be performing their latest mind-boggling array of acrobatic theatre, Carnival Of the Animals, at the Arts Centre Gold Coast for three nights from April 30 until May 2.

Since launching in 2004, Circa have been at the forefront of the new era of circus that highlights the power and beauty of the human body. Featuring an ensemble of multi-skilled circus artists under the direction of Yaron Lifschitz, Circa’s award-winning works have been seen in 32 countries across six continents.

Carnival of the Animals turns traditional performance on its head with the performers taking on the persona of traditional circus animals. Juggling zebras, somersaulting kangaroos join elephants with more rhythm than Justin Timberlake to create a breathtaking spectacle of choreography.

Circa’s Carnival of Animals is a stunning interpretation of traditional circus tropes and tricks through humanity’s own animal nature.

Circa’s Carnival of Animals will take place across three nights starting April 30 until May 2 at the Arts Centre Gold Coast.
