BOY AND BEAR AND BEERS AND US

Since forming in 2009, Boy & Bear have become one of Australia’s best loved indie bands. Actually, they’re probably responsible for our renewed love affair with indie music after being lured to the dark side by Taylor Swift back in 2010. (there was lots of breaking up that year, don’t judge us). And, with their latest album already a hit, the boys have confirmed a national tour this October which includes a stop over here at the Gold Coast.

Boy & Bear’s highly anticipated sophomore release, Harlequin Dream, debuted at #1 on the Australian ARIA album chart upon release. The singles ‘Southern Sun’ and ‘Three Headed Woman’ were automatic hits with fans and reviewers alike and receiving laudatory early album reviews from media across the country, it seems that Harlequin Dream was always set to be an album destined for glory.

As part of their Gold Coast leg of the tour, the gentleman from Boy & Bear will be performing at the Coolangatta Hotel, Friday 8 November. Yeah this is going to be one awesome night out and you should probably get your tickets as soon as possible because this will be selling out quicker than tickets to public dunking of Tony Abbott.
