Bringing the carnival theme to this year’s Surfers Paradise Festival celebration is the Australian Street Entertainment Championships. Held over four days, clowns, mimes, magicians, jugglers, dancers and performers will take to stages across Surfers Paradise in a carnival of light and laughter – as they vie for the crowd’s attention.

Based around four stages, each zone will buzz with colour and activity as competing street entertainers act the clown or weave their magic to beguile. Knowing their audience might wander off at any moment, these artisans of the showbiz coalface put it all on the line to dazzle, intrigue and amaze. Make sure you come down and check out each one!
