We’ve made no secret of the fact that we are complete magpies when it comes to accessories but we are happy to acknowledge that it’s not all shiny things that make us lose our minds.

Source of all things fun that it is, sometimes even we get surprised at the good stuff online. Good stuff such as Whimsy Mileu.

Whimsymilieu is Malaysian-born and now Australian residing designer-maker, Jacqueline Chan. Jacqueline finds her inspiration in many different things – ranging from old illustrations, natural curiosities, vintage wares, apothecary, Japanese crafts, Scandinavian design, French patisserie & aesthetics – anything at all that catches her attention at the moment. In her own words she states “even the most insignificant detail can be an inspiration.”

Which brings us to her range of awesome carved wooden jewellery.

Coming in a variety of shapes (our favourite are the mushrooms, the polar bear and the shark) Jacqueline’s hand-carved accessories are a perfect addition to any day. And they’re only $20 each! We know, right?
