A Fun & Quirky Gold Coast Wedding

Lilly Piri is a Brisbane-born artist who creates whimsical illustrations using coloured pencils and acrylics. From deers to unicorns and kittens, her drawings focus on the wonder of flora and fauna. How they met:

Lilly and Nathan met through a mutual friend at a games day party in 2015. The two artists hit it off straight away, bonding over their love of party games. Fast forward three years and the couple tied the knot in front of 60 family & friends, with a dedicated games area on the lawn.

The wedding inspo: 

“We didn’t start out with any ideas, but when we visited QT Gold Coast – the first location we went to & fell in love with – we thought that retro motels and a tropical kind of florals and flamingos would be fun.”

“We love the Gold Coast and the Pink Poodle so that was our inspiration as well. We wanted it to feel fun and we made the Electroluminescent Wire centrepiece signs ourselves as a project in the lead up to it.”
