2018 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final

Last night, 5000 people were tucking into pasta in Broadwater Parklands. Why? It was the opening ceremony of the 2018 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final and the perfect opportunity for the world’s best elite and age group triathletes to carb load.

Over the next four days, triathletes from 46 nations will be swimming, cycling and running for gold. As the Official Host Hotel of the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final, QT Gold Coast has been helping athletes fuel up all week.

It will be a celebration of the diversity of triathlon, with athletes competing in Elite, Under 23, Junior, Elite Paratriathlon and Age Groupers.

The Aussies to watch in the Elite races are Jake Birtwhistle and the Gold Coast’s own Ashleigh Gentle.
