Indie artists listen up: $50k Scholarship up for grabs

May 12, 2014  ·  2 min read

by Monique Clark

We’re all about getting behind Australian artists – especially when it comes to music – and thanks to Pacific International Music there’s a killer prize up for grabs for one very talented independent Australian band or solo artist.

A plethora of local music businesses are getting behind the search and the incredible scholarship will include the recording and production of a full length album, a video clip, a professional photo shoot, a website for your band, 500 hard copies of your album and 3 months of professional management which includes social media accounts, electronic press kit, a business plan as well as invaluable marketing consultations and media coaching.

The scholarship is open to any and all Australian bands and solo artists above the age of 16 able to complete the scholarship in the next 12 months.

With Gordon Williams on board as one of the judges, entrants can look forward to working with one of the biggest Aussie names in sound engineering and production. Williams has several Grammy awards under his belt and has worked with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Santana and Alicia Keys.

The right artists could see themselves jet setting all over the world if they impress the judges!

Interested in entering? Head to the Pacific International Music website.
