If there were any two better things to combine than awesome music and adorable animals, we’re yet to find it. So obviously we’re mega excited about the annual Twilight at Taronga concerts that are held every Friday and Saturday at Taronga Zoo from January 30 until March 21.
In what can only be described as their best line-up yet, this summer’s Twilight at Taronga series has pulled some of the biggest hitters in the Australian music scene. Artists such as Sarah Blasko, Something for Kate, Dan Sultan and Australian poet laureate, Paul Kelly.
Representing the international demographic is the music’s enfant terrible, the incredible Rufus Wainwright.
Aside from being a great way to experience some of the best in contemporary music at one of the world’s most amazing zoos, Twilight at Taronga is also a good cause – all profits from the 2015 Twilight at Taronga concert series will go toward supporting the Taronga Conservation Society Australia (Taronga) in it’s ongoing work in the fields of conservation, research and education.
Taronga is a not for profit organisation supporting wildlife conservation. Of the 350 species directly within its care at its campus’ at Mosman and Dubbo, a significant number are endangered or threatened in their natural environments.
Dinners are also available in the form of pre-sale hampers, which we can guarantee are exceptionally delicious.
Tickets for Twilight at Taronga are on sale now.
Twilight at Taronga is on at the Taronga Zoo from January 30 until March 21.
