Filling the shoes of someone who created a cult following must be a difficult task. You could fail so damn hard that the entire damn cult leaves and goes to support some billionaire property developer because his voice was somewhat louder. Then again, you could strengthen the cult following and take the frenzied fans to a new understanding of what it’s like to live in this world.

Luckily for Trevor Noah and his appointment to the top spot as host of The Daily Show, he has managed to keep all that goodness that his predecessor possessed while adding his own kick on things and keeping that cult following in close step.
