Three Champagne Cocktails

We threw a party recently. It was loose… not Corey Worthington loose, but it was a good ol’ fashioned party nonetheless and everyone involved gave it a good ol’ nudge. There were fancy drinks that you probably haven’t heard of, and lots of them. How fancy? Well, we were making cocktails with Perrier Jouet Champagne. For lack of a better pop culture reference, we’re cray cray. Don’t knock it til you tried it, don’t be a square. The Champagne cocktails were epic… so epic in fact, that we want you to have a crack at them.

Champagne-Sider

Encanto Pisco, Mint, Fresh Lime, PJ Champagne Reduction

Look at this sexy little minx. It’s fresh, tropical and a little bit jungle, and it’s got a baby peg holding some juicy mint leaves to the glass… sort of like a headdress on a bikini-clad Coachella festival-goer. It’s very inviting, seductive almost, and definitely fun. This drink is for when you want to have a good time, it’s not a sit-on-the-couch-in-ugg-boots kind of swill, it’s better than that. The kick of the pisco complements the vibrancy of the lime and mint, and the Perrier Jouet Champagne reduction gives it a little class.

Ahhh Mr Collins I presume? Have a go at this stylish and flamboyant fellow. He’s in the room and he wants you to know it. He doesn’t care what you want, he’s staring at you from across the bar daring you to sample his ginny, lemony, bubbly goods… behave yourself Collins!

Earl Grey Cazadores Blanco, White Peach, Perrier Jouët NV

A classy mix that is levelled out with the best garnish I’ve ever seen… a humble tea bag. The tea bag really is the people’s champion – reliable and comforting. A tea bag will never let you down, and it certainly doesn’t let you down here. This garnish is a tip of the hat to the Earl Grey Cazadores Blanco tequila that topped off the delicious white peach and Perrier Jouet combination.
