spaQBy Ben Stephens.
As a child I never wanted to run away with the circus. I put this down mainly to growing up in a town largely unaffected by any presence of a circus, they just never came to Margaret River. This was probably for the best, I was able to focus on things like learning to body board in surfing town and finding the best potential tree house in the neighbourhood. Many years have passed from those days and finally after checking out the amazing work from the Flying Fruit Circus, the yearning for the circus has finally kicked into gear. Better late than never.
The circus school is Australia’s only youth circus school, focusing on developing kids from the ages of 8 to 18. This would have been a welcomed school some time ago, unfortunately I now need to attend adult circus school, which isn’t as much fun… anyway, enough about me, back to Flying Fruit Circus. The team at the school have put together a 2016 production and are ready to show it off to you at the Sydney Opera House this April.
