For those of you who like your humour served up with acerbic wit, the occasional cabaret and even a touch of burlesque then you’ll be happy to know Sandra Bernhard is coming back to Sydney to perform at the Enmore Theatre on Friday, March 6.

Since the late 70s, Sandra Bernhard has made a career out of sharing the peculiarities of her own life and family and calling bullshit on the celebrity culture machine that drives U.S media. On her family, she once stated that her father was a proctologist and her mother was an abstract artist, “so that’s how I view the world”.

For her latest tour, Sandra Bernhard will be performing her brand new show Sandyland. Musical, comical, dance-ical (that’s not a word), this latest show has been described as ‘classic Bernhard”.

Her live in-your-face performing combines her hysterical insight, outspoken views and outrageous mouth, together with her band, The Flawless Zircons. Bernhard’s brilliant unity of hilarious diatribes on the state of modern culture and classic rock attitude burns smart, with all the raucous energy of youth.
