Our favourite indie pop quartet from Freo, San Cisco, are hitting the stage at The Enmore Theatre on Saturday, May 30 for one night only and we’d hate for you to miss out on the awesomeness that is them. Joining them will be the über-cute Crooked Colours and Methyl Ethel.
Two years since they released their debut self-titled album in 2012 (which, by the way, killed it on an international level), San Cisco have released their follow up studio album Gracetown.
Inspired by a laid back coastal town of the same name in South Western Australia, Gracetown offers glimpses of a more worldly approach to life that explores the tyranny of love, displacement, homesickness, heartache and heartbreak, via a heady mix of disco, funk, soul and hip hop beats.
Already taking control of the airwaves are the hit singles “RUN” and “Too Much Time Together”, which carry all the fun and up-tempo wit that San Cisco are known for but with a more deeper, looser feel. Which is only a good thing, in our books.
After a successful festival season that included a sweet gig headlining Groovin The Moo, this will be a great chance to see the San Cisco back where they started with a more intimate setting.
San Cisco, accompanied by Crooked Colours and Methyl Ethel, will perform at The Enmore Theatre on May 30.
