Rufus Wainwright at the State Theatre

One of music’s most fascinating and haunting performers, Rufus Wainwright, is coming to Australia and he will be performing at our very own State Theatre (that’s right, just downstairs) for one night only on March 9.

Technically coming out to headline at the WOMADelaide festival in Adelaide, the tour also perfectly coincides with the release Wainwright’s latest album Vibrate: The Best Of Rufus Wainwright.

With a career that has spanned two decades and crossed numerous genres, including opera, pop music, rock and blues, Wainwright has garnered a much-deserved reputation for his creative blending of sounds.
