Sometimes life moves so fast you’re hardly aware the days are creeping by; you’re busy earning money, keeping your relationships and social circle afloat, you’re plugging into podcasts and music as you bustle to and fro around the clock in a life full of busy.
Sometimes we have all the good intentions to sit down and take stock of what it is we really want, think hard into our dreams and figure out what it is we want to get out of life, but never have the time.
With each new experience, the most valuable thing we are gaining is who we are, but it’s easy to plug into the status-quo; repetition makes permanent.

Each morning you’ll wake up, wake up, wake up, and one day you’ll realise you don’t even know why. Sometimes, we need something that shakes us to our very core, that gives you that spark in your belly that reminds you that you’re an individual in the craziest time, on the most beautiful planet, that is truly capable of creating magic.
Here you stand because of pure chance, you’re reading this because there are tiny fires inside your brain igniting nerves and sending messages without you even realising it – everything you do is by chance, every moment you still draw breath is a miracle; no point wasting time doing things that don’t inspire you.
However, getting that real kick can be a task, so that’s where #RadLivin comes into play – it’s a conference of the best kind; a gathering in a fucking spectacular space with surfboards and fairy lights clamouring for love on the walls at The Commune in Waterloo on Saturday, March 11th.

The word conference can muster up images of dull faced speeches and doodling mindlessly on a notepad, but this is not your ordinary space.
Touted as a festival-of-sorts, it brings together speakers who are living their best life, chasing their dreams and getting everywhere they want to be.
They’re the movers and shakers, creating ripples from pebbles, and they’re here to tell you why it can be done – why and how you can live your raddest life yet.
They are going to tell you exactly how they grabbed life by the dick and used it as a joystick to navigate the treacherous valleys of “what if”, “you’re not good enough”, “that’s not possible”, and “you’re a fool”.

The line-up includes the likes of Johnny Dustow, the co-founder of VanLife; the guy lives his life telling stories, gathering like-minded people, playing music (as Dusty Boots, which will also make an appearance later in the day) and living from coast-to-coast in a life that he loves. Nat and Dan of Clean Coast Collective will also be there, showing you that just a small idea to clean up our gorgeous coastlines can snowball into a collective, firing out a successful lifestyle brand aimed at shifting consumer consumption from disposable plastics. Ever wanted to sell up your life, pack the must-needs into a bag and travel the world on the wind? Adam Rikys will be there and he did just that, and he’s made an amazing life from it. He founded Bucket Vision; all about teaching you how it’s very possible to tick off every item on your bucket list, and that there is always room for more.
The other phenomenal speakers include; Angela Simson of The Gratitude Project, Chloe Chapman of Aloé Swimwear, Jimmy Niggles of Beard Season, Jessica Ruhfus of Collabosaurus. The afternoon will be kicking off with some tasty tunes from Dusty Boots and Nathan Hawes.

There will be music, there will be speakers, there will be drinks and food galore. But most importantly there will be like-minded people there to chat, to listen, to collaborate and encourage you to do whatever it is that you’re doodling about on that scrap of paper in your boring-ass meeting.
Life is scary and the world is big, but the founder of Don’t Tell Summer, Olivia O’Connell knows all about that. She’s scraped this all together to let you know it is possible, the world needs the fools and the dreamers.
It needs the lovers, the poets, the healers; there is no better time than now. If you’re looking for a sign, this is it.
