Dear QT Melbourne,

We would like to officially welcome you to the QT family.

From the whispers, to the scaffolding and the sneak peeks, we were excited at every stage. Now that you’re here, it seems like everyone is talking about how good you look.

That trio of Nic Graham, Shelley Indyk and Angelo Candalepas sure do know how to make a hotel look pretty special.

From Broadsheet to Gourmet Traveller and even the Sydney Morning Herald, they are all writing such lovely things about you!

We are in love with your copper door entrance and those Directors of Chaos look at home on Russell Street, albeit that black hair is a slight change for us here.

Now, up in Pascale Bar & Grill you have two QT favourites, Creative Food Director Rob Marchetti and Executive Chef Paul Easson creating #foodporn together. Let them know we are hanging out to have wine with them both.

You not only have a dedicated Cake Shop filled with delicious goodies, you also have that laneway bar, Hot Sauce, you’re so Melbourne.

As for your rooms, we just love the design, all 188 of them. Those bedheads look incredible. As for your Room Number Redo competition, what a brilliant idea, the entries are looking great!

You have a launch party in a couple of weeks, from what we hear it is the talk of the town, we’ll try and get down for it, but it’s pretty busy here in Sydney.

From far north tropical Queensland in Port Douglas, to the chilly alpine region at Falls Creek, on behalf of all the QT properties, we want to congratulate you on your opening and can’t wait to see more exciting stuff come from you!
