Suits have to be the height of male fashion, now I only say that because all I find myself wearing is black, straight cut, skinny jeans teamed with t-shirt and that feels like it’s getting a tad old. The humble suit is still holding strong however and when it comes to rocking a good suit, the QT Barbers always out dress the rest. This is due in part to the good dudes at M.J. Bale who fit them out with the very best in season collections. It’s also because they’re barbers; they have a way with style like they do with a razor. Between Kris, Craig and Dustan, the boys are loaded with quick tips on men’s style and what’s good. So next time you are in the chair, in either Sydney or Canberra, pick their mind on what they are enjoying at the moment and say yes to that welcome glass of Chivas Regal.
Alas, the boys are not the only ones that know what is going on in the men’s style scene, the team at M.J. Bale have a wealth of style tips to help a dude out. With winter approaching fast, here is a little breakdown from them to me, to you…
Blazered
With the chilly months rolling in, the ability to layer up is a handy one, though the ability to mix up your style with a blazer is even better. Keep the blazer light, you don’t want anything to bulky going on and go for a pop of pastel colour or a quiet pattern. Mix these with a soft chino or a cotton trouser, to compliment the blazer statement. As the team at M.J. Bale say ‘you’ll look somewhere between Prince William on tour to the Antipodes and Prince Harry on the lash in London’.
