Laneway Festival Drops The Goods

Sep 11, 2017  ·  2 min read

Ahhh… There’s no explanation about it, but the very nice people over at St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival (aka Australia’s finest one-day music festival) have just dropped the first half of the 2018 lineup a day early… and it’s a bloody banger.

A wee while back, it was announced that the Mr Mac DeMarco and Anderson .Paak were topping the summer time bill. This resulted in the presale allotment sell the hell out rather quickly- records were set apparently.

So who will be gracing the Laneway stages from Singapore to Fremantle this season:

Aldous Harding – Alex Cameron – Amy Shark – Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals – *BADBADNOTGOOD – Billie Eilish – *Bonobo – Cable Ties – City Calm Down – Dream Wife – Father John Misty – **KLLO – Loyle Carner – Mac DeMarco – Miss Blanks – Moses Sumney – *ODESZA – Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever – (Sandy) Alex G – Shame – Slowdive – Sylvan Esso – **The Babe Rainbow – *The Internet – The War on Drugs – TOKiMONSTA – *Wolf Alice

*Excluding Freo
**Exclusive to Laneway

Or if you’re more inclined to learning in video format:

SO MUCH GOODNESS.

That’s only half of the acts playing with many more acts to be confirmed.

Now would be a good time to let you know that tickets go on general sale on Monday, September 18 at 9.00am local time. Though if you’re quick, there are early access tickets via Visa Checkout on the Friday before – more information on that HERE.

The tour begins on January 27 in Singapore, then New Zealand before hitting the sandy shores of Australia. Peep all the venue details below:

Saturday 27 January – Singapore – TBA
Monday 29 January – Auckland – Albert Park Precinct
Friday 2 February – Adelaide – Hart Art’s Mill, Port Adelaide
Saturday 3 February – Melbourne – Footscray
Sunday 4 February – Sydney – SCA, Rozelle
Saturday 10 February – Brisbane – Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills
Sunday 11 February – Fremantle – Esplanade Reserve and West End

If you’re still hungry for all the details, head over the St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival HERE.
