Sydney’s Doing It… Just For Laughs

Just For Laughs Sydney returns this September for it’s fifth consecutive year. This year the sidesplitting event will be held across two of Sydney’s most iconic buildings, the Sydney Opera House and the State Theatre, as well as Qantas Credit Union Arena.

In previous years Just For Laughs has attracted the who’s who of stand up, like John Cleese, Louis C.K, Noel Fielding, Bill Burr, Kathy Griffin and more. Organisers have backed it up this year with the stellar crew of comics, including Russell Brand, Omid Djalili, John Bishop, Danny Bhoy, Celia Pacquola, Dave Thorton and Al Murray.

The Pick of the Bunch?

Russell Brand – he isn’t the headliner for no reason. Brand will deliver his notorious, informative and downright hilarious rant-style comedy with reckless abandon. He is impressively verbose, charmingly arrogant and is on a mission to start a revolution. Humour is his main weapon. No prisoners will be taken.
