Charli XCX At the Metro Theatre

British pop phenom, Charli XCX, has announced a series of sideshow performances while she tours Australia as the headline act for Groovin The Moo. Lucky for us, this includes a one night only show at the Metro Theatre on Wednesday, April 29.

After bursting on to the music scene in 2012 when she collaborated with Swedish synthpop duo Icona Pop, Charli XCX has gone from strength to strength.

At just 22, she has already worked with some of the biggest (and most controversial) names in the industry, including singing on Iggy Azalea’s breakthrough hit Fancy.

Joining Charli XCX will be Adelaide rapper, Tkay Maidza, who for the past 12 months has been killing it with performances at Laneway Festival, Splendour In The Grass and sell out solo shows of her own. One to watch in 2015, make sure you catch the woman FasterLouder deemed one of the ‘future legends of Aussie hip-hop’!
