You’ll need to book for the December 14 meeting, when author Nicolas Jose, who spent five years in China, will be speaking about two brand-new books: his own Bapo (“collage illusion”), a collection of stories related to China, and Sheng Keyi’s Death Fugue, a reflection on the 1989 Tiananmen Square incident that has been banned in China.
