When Your Hour’s Up…

Jul 5, 2012  ·  1 min read

If there was one word to describe the crisp designs of Anne Tu’s label, The Eleventh Hour, it would be ‘architectural. Clean lines that drape the body perfectly; precision cuts so sharp you could slice bread with them and exquisite tailoring and details make for a garment that is built to last.

For her coming Spring/Summer look, Tu has drawn inspiration from the East – combining Japanese wedding ceremonies and touches of cultural tribal dresses from regional China.

Dubbed ‘Ceremony’, the collection excels in delicate and intricate fabric folds that create structure as well as shape, reference Japanese origami art. The finished product is a dream of flawless detailing in indigo, orange and ivory.

Tu’s Autumn/Winter collection, ‘Amour’, is available online here
