Like food? Tick. Like wine? Tick. Like live music? Tick. Like doing all of the above in the surrounds of one of our most beautiful parks? Then maybe you should be going to the latest in outdoor events, Lost Picnic, happening on Sunday 23 March.
Lost Picnic is a new event that is combining great food and great music at one of our most favourite places here in Sydney – Centennial Park.
Doing their part to support home-grown talents on all levels, Lost Picnic will show-case some of Australia’s finest artists including, Platinum selling, ARIA & APRA award winning Megan Washington, who is about to release her highly anticipated new single, her first in more than 2 years, five-piece alternative rock band and platinum award winning The Rubens, the alluring sounds of Queensland songwriter Emma Louise, Triple J unearthed indie/folk artist Dustin Tebbutt and three-piece indie folk band Sons of the East.
In addition to highlighting our great music industry, Lost Picnic is also showing us the great selection of food and wine available by teaming up with successful local restaurants to offer gourmet picnic hampers. Rushcutters, a collaboration with celebrated chef, Martin Boetz and award winning hospitality company, The Keystone Group will offer Northern European inspired food with the majority of produce sourced directly from Boetz’s Cooks Co-op in the Hawkesbury Region. Iconic Bondi restaurant, Icebergs and chef Maurice Terzini, who have now expanded to outside catering in collaboration with Cherry Kitchen will offer a hamper typical of the quality you would expect. March 23, 2014 – 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
