WHAT’S NEW AT NEUW

Neuw Denim – our favourite denim, and probably the best denim to come out of Australia in a long time slash forever – has launched their new winter collection GOLDMINE.

Seen as a nod to our foraging past and the infamous Australian (and U.S) gold rush, the winter range was created by the boys at NEUW to reflect both the optimism and resourcefulness of the original goldminers who first wore denim and canvas as workwear and operated in difficult conditions. Like the original miners, NEUW have taken a positive and resourceful approach to the creation of their new major denim collection GOLDMINE.

In the design process, the design team at Neuw looked at original miner’s jeans, researching how they were cared for and repaired to cope with the stress applied by everyday hard work. In addition, they looked at how their environment made the jeans dark and rich with multiple layers of colour and authentic wear patterns.

In conjunction to the new range, Neuw have exclusively shot fashion bloggers Zanita and Alex Spencer for the GOLDMINE campaign on location at Cockatoo Island by the very talented Darren McDonald.

The only thing we have left to say is bring on the gold rush…
