For those of you who don’t do so well in the Big Day Out crowds (like us), a number of sideshows are now coming your way to liven up the humid summer months.

We can remember the first time we heard Major Lazer rip through our speakers. It was like hearing music for the first time again and it gave us hope that creativity wasn’t dead in the industry. And we’re mega happy that we will be able to see them live this coming Wednesday, January 29 at the Enmore Theatre in Newtown.

Currently made up of the deliciously dreamboat-level dude, Diplo and fellow DJs Jillionaire and Walshy Fire, Major Lazer are known not only for having their fingers behind some of the best remixes and producing most of all that music you like from other artists for the past three years but for, at the same time, releasing four EPs in the one year, numerous mix tapes (including a work out one that we play every time we pretend we’re going to the gym) and two top selling studio albums. See what you can achieve with some honest talent, some ADD and a touch of sass?

This is going to be one of those nights that you want to make sure you have the next day off. With the ever rad Flosstradamus confirmed as opening act, intend to tear a new one with Major Lazer at the Enmore.
