We love a comedian. Especially one that takes that dry Australian humour, dips it in a sweet vat of sarcasm and tosses it out with some camp sensibility. In other words, Tom Ballard, who is bringing his one-man show, Taxis & Rainbows & Hatred to the Factory Theatre in Marrickvile for three nights, starting October 2.
Triple J host, television personality, cat lover and former boyfriend to our other favourite giggle-giver Josh Thomas, Tom Ballard is like a beacon of hope in a sea of jaded bullshit.
For his latest show, Ballard shares how his own experiences of homophobia and lets these unravel into a sharp-as-a-dagger look at life in Australia, and on the planet earth in general. In his own words, “a glorious sparkling epic that’s definitely worth $25.”
Tom Ballard’s Taxis & Rainbows & Hatred will show at the Factory Theatre in Marrickville for three nights starting October 2.
