Degree of difficulty: LowYou need:
- 250 Gram Sirloin or 250 Gram Rump or 250 gram eye Fillet.
- White Pepper (to taste)
- Sea Salt (to taste)
- Olive Oil 20 ml
Method:
- Â Ensure Meat is Room Temperature leave out of the fridge for say 20 minutes
- Â Heat a Heavy based (say cast iron fry pan or grill) to moderate to high heat.
- Â Seal meat on all sides until golden brown say 3-4minutes and cook 1 stage below your required doneness. So for medium rare cook it rare, for well done cook it medium and so on.
- Â Once ready remove from grill or pan and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes somewhere warm say next to the stove, season with sea salt and white pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Â Once rested well place back on grill or fry pan and cook to your doneness then remove and rest for 2 minutes.
