So winter was a big non-event but that’s ok, we like where this spring is heading. Particularly if it means we get to get our hands on the latest collection from across the Tasman designer, Juliette Hogan.
After establishing her label in 2004 (and previously earning her stripes at Rebecca Taylor and even a stint in New York’s New School University) Juliette has quickly become a favourite for women who prefer a clean approach to their fashion. Juliette’s ability to blur the line between classic femininity and contemporary fashion has seen her establish a foothold in an industry better known for its excessive opulence.
Her clean minimalist approach to tailoring, along with her careful selection of textiles, textures and colourations make for functional yet beautiful garments. Each piece is modern yet shrouded in a timeless quality, making it able to surpass the seasons.
For her Spring Summer collection, Hogan mixes the subtle prettiness of florals with luxurious fabrics and timeless striped tees. Cuts are loose and soft, emphasizing that comfort and style need not be mutually exclusive. The range doesn’t drop in Sydney stores or online until mid-August but we have some great news – if you spot something that you simply must have, email [email protected] and put your dibs on it early on.
For more information, and to see the full collection online, head to Juliette’s website here.
