THE FUTURE IS NOW

While we might bang on a lot about winter being the best season, summer steals our hearts because a Sydney summer is one long weekend of beach, beers and festivals. If we’re not at The Big Day Out we were at Field Day. If we’re not at Field Day we are at Harbour Party. And on Saturday, March 8, we’re going to be at the Royal Randwick Racecourse for the annual Future Music Festival. Blammo!

Future Music has quickly established itself as the crème de la crème of the festival season. With some of the world’s biggest acts headlining this year (think Pharrell Williams, Deadmau5, Kaskade, Eric Prydz, Cut/Copy, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Paul Van Dyk) we are betting that tickets are going to fly out the door faster than your auntie when she hears the neighbours fighting in the front yard.

Since launching in 2006 at Randwick Raceway (the very same venue it currently plays, how is that for loyalty) Future Music Festival has evolved in to a nationally touring event that often eclipses other similar gatherings in both numbers and acts. Known for it’s focus on more dance and electronic based performers, this year’s line up is guaranteeing that it will be the biggest yet. And yes, we recommend wearing as little as possible because you are going to get a lot sweat and a lot dirty…well, you will if you are having fun!
